Like the other reviews stated, it took about 4 hours to hang all of the Crystals. I decided to attach all of them before hanging the light. It helped making this a two person job with me holding the light while some else did the wiring. We cut the chain and the wires to the desired length before we got on the ladder so the installation process of holding it up to install was as quick as possible. I only had one crystal fall of while we were hanging it and there were plenty of extra pieces to replace the broken piece after installation. This light is a great value for the price I would definitely take the time to buy another one and spend the 4 hours it took to assemble this light.So happy with this light. It is beautiful.This chandelier is a timeless beautiful choice. The crystals must be attached to the chandelier and it is time consuming but well worth the time in the end. The easiest way to install these crystals is to mount the chandelier frame first, and then add on the crystals after the frame has been installed. It will go quicker with two people installing one to assemble the crystals to the tabs that they are hung with, and one to do the actual attachment to the frame. And my husband would attach about 10 crystals to the hanging tabs at a time and then hand them to me too attached to the chandelier and an assembly line fashion. This chandelier is sturdy common and unlike some tacky more formal chandeliers, timeless design and appearance. I have looked at many chandeliers and found this one to be the most beautiful cost effective statement piece in our home. I would not hesitate to purchase again. The seller also includes additional crystals in the event one should drop and break.Long assembly processThis is a very nice chandelier. I have it in my living room. It is more expensive in other stores.I actually enjoyed putting each piece of glass on the chandilier. Put on some good music and off I went.Time consuming, yes but we'll worth it.My only complaint is that several of the crystals were either scratched up or you couldn't get the metal hook into the holes.For this reason I had exactly the right amount. Had ONE fell and broke I would have had to order more.Love this light. Only thing is it takes forever to get the crystals on especially the top row.A beautiful fixture for my ‘Parisian’ bedroom. You will not be disappointed! A few hints for easier installation. Have patience: first attach the hooks to all the crystals (one bend of hook only) as it will make it easier when you are attaching to rings. If your fixture is going up high, put the top row of crystals on before attaching to ceiling. All lower rows can be attached after installation (too heavy to hold up with all crystals on). Manufacturer included 3 different length screws for canopy attachment ( addressing previous concerns by customers). Extra crystals and hooks were included. I am extremely happy with this fixture. It is excellent value for money. UPDATE: I was going to add a wall dimmer switched, but saved money by just installing 1 bulb in the fixture. See last added picture of effect on my bedroom wall. The only thing that would make it better if there were crystals in the bottom all the way to cover the bulb in the middle. But it’s perfect for my foyer!Stunning! It’s is easy to install, you just need about an hour to hang all the real crystals- but totally worth it!!Absolutely love this light. Super easy to assemble, time consuming but easy.
