The gold is very cheap looking. Pictures are deceivingI love this chandelier, I got the correct size and everything. The drops are securely wrapped and everything shipped intact, which is phenomenal. Happy to say I didn't break any branches when bending them in place as well! Just remember to bend only once and at the weld points. Chandelier doesn't look cheap which was a worry for me, but the gold looks real and it looks more like an art installment than a light source. Lightbulbs are semi easy to find, however the largest pack you can buy for them that I've found is 12 and this Chandelier needs 13. Would be nice for the price is if the company could include even just one bulb to help. But that's not on the company that the bulbs aren't sold in that quantity. Chandelier is gorgeous though and I hung it semi flush to the ceiling so I can't say how hard it'd be to install as is. Wiring was in good shape and easy to maneuver.This chanelier is so so beautiful. I have been waiting to review it until the electrician got here to hang it but he has been too busy and I want everyone to know they should buy one of these because they are so damn cool. I wish I got the longer one but this one will be just fine. But the longer one would be even more impressive over the dining table. The materials are very very fine. The crystal teardrops are clear as day. This is a definite conversation piece and it will give just enough light over the dining room table for dinner parties. Will post more pics when it is installed. Until then, you can just be jealous that I have this.This modern chandelier light enlivens and updates our historic home dining room. It is better than I hoped.We are having professional install it for us. Getting it to hang to the correct length, though not hard, is more than I would have preferred to tackle. I ordererd 2 packs of the G9 dimmable lights [G9 led Bulb Dimmable 4W Natural Daylight 4000K,Equivalent to 40W Halogen Light, 450Lm 100-120V AC CRI> 85,No Strobe, Flicker Free,360 Degree Angle, Ceramic Bi Pin Base, G9 Bulb,5 Pack] as we need 8 lights. We tested the connection to a Lutron dimmer light switch which I bought 10 years ago (?). The lights stay constant on even with the switch turned off. Our installer suggests that I need a new dimmer switch, that mine is too old and too sensitive with the new bulbs. I ordered the new switch [Lutron Maestro LED+ Dimmer for Dimmable LED, Halogen and Incandesent Bulbs | Single-Pole or Multi-Location | MACL-153M-WH].Hopefully the chandelier will be fully installed next week.It is so pretty even without the bulbs on yet.I do want it to work.I should mention another point. The chandelier comes with brief instructions that were not helpful to me. I watched the videos for clarification. However looking at the branches, I need help from our installer to show me to put one finger on the soder points and gently bend each branch into place. He explained not to bend back and forth but to bend where I wanted the branch--once, start from the base and move up. The effect is stunning. None of my soder points broke.I have eclectic tastes, and this looks amazing in my kitchen. Yes, the kitchen. I have cathedral ceilings, so this looks great from below, and you can see it when you first walk into the house. It's gotten a lot of compliments, and I have to admit it makes me smile. The actual light emitted is really nice too. It will need to be dusted a few times a year, but it's worth it.I did hire an electrician to install this.Very unique design. Looks beautiful. Branches reflect nicely on the ceiling. It did have a few broken glass drops when I got it and we broke a few during installation but there were still plenty and finished product looks full and you can’t even tell. Was easy to carefully adjust the branches. Installation was difficult but only because we installed on 2nd story vaulted ceiling. Would imagine it would be much easier on a normal ceiling. It does come with enough wire for the long length we needed for the vaulted ceiling. Lovely product.So we we're in search of a modern looking type chandelier that had to look of him much more expensive fixture but didn't break the bank, and so far it seems we got exactly that. Only complain so far is that it I was unaware that you have to purchase the lights bulbs separately, I believe they should make a point to advertise that a little more because I would have bought the e12 bulbs necessary at the same time rather than had to wait for the new ones to come and order them separately at later time.wow wow wow wow wow wow wow ! this looks like icicles dripping down
