This is not the first set of Ashley chairs I’ve bought, and they’re all quality products.Perfect for us, sturdy enough for plus sized peopleWe bought this because we like the color and it’s faux leather feel. It is very easy to put together. We are very happy with it. We took off a star because you have to air out the chairs for their strong smell upon assembly. Put them in the garage for a week, and you are good to go.Good comfort . Built studyIt is important to sit in the chair to adjust the legs so it sits smoothly on the floor. Chair is made of real wood. It is easy to assemble and comfortable for us to sit on. The back is high enough to support my back. I am large, but it is wide enough and not like the ikea narrow chairs I looked at.A perfect replacement for original dining chairs included with our 8 year old Ashley signature design Wataskin set. Arrived next day, undamaged, unblemished and with all pieces and screws. Put together easily, looks great and comfortable. Happy with purchase!Everything is fine except for one side where the hole is not deep enough for screw to go inside, not even one hole is good enough for the screw to get inside in that side, so it's very frustrating when I've waited longer than week for this thing to arrive and now having such dumb problem. They shouldn't have sent such thing at first place, when I've paid full price for it. Somehow I managed to fix it, there was small issue which took me several minutes to fix, but I wasn't expecting such dumb mistake.These are nice chairs for the money. They are big, sturdy and can easily for bigger people. I've put many things together over the years and these were some the easiest things I've ever put together. It takes about 10 minutes to put a chair together, and there are only three different screw sizes. They even include the Allen wrench which fits all the screws.You must align the screw square, AKA Perfectly Straight, 90 Degree angle, etc. with the receiving nut, and I think this is where some people are having difficulty with assembly. Otherwise this is as simple as it gets to assemble anything. I did have a person sit on the chair prior to tightening all bolts down and still got the wobbly effect on 2 of 4 chairs which I think is poor manufacturing quality. Easy fix though with filling or chair leg pads.
