This is the most exquisite chandelier! I do not know how it differs from the original RH chandelier, but for the price point of this one, at a fraction of the RH cost, this is a no brainer. It took hours to install, especially as the base plate that attaches to the ceiling is smaller than the old ceiling light-can that came out, which meant drywall patch, sanding, & painting, and an extra piece of 2x4 to support the weight. So installation cost was higher than the cost of the fixture. But worth every cent! And I also had to have a dimmer switch installed, which I would echo other reviews, is a must. I used the bulbs that came with it and they do dim with the simmer switch. If you are considering this chandelier, I say: do not hesitate.Looks really nice in room Takes a long time to put the crystals on.I love this chandelier! We get compliments on it from everyone! I’m a petite woman and had no issues installing it by myself. The crystals were tedious as everyone has mentioned, but just have a glass of wine with it and it’s not too bad. There were a few holes that were painted over and it’s an industrial paint or something because I couldn’t get my poker to go through them to open them up, but I got the drill and a really tiny drill bit and went through all the clogged holes in no time. I didn’t like the bulbs that came with it, they were a yellowy light. But I changed the bulbs out to 40w daylights and they’re perfect. (I originally did 60w and holy heck that was way too bright!) I also had my father in law install a dimmer switch and it works perfectly. Love this chandelier!!Finally got this up! We have a high ceiling and Lisa was SO helpful getting additional lengths of chain and wire sent within days. We received the fixture really fast. Great packing, no broken or scratched prisms, and there are a few extra just in case you drop a couple. To hang from the higher ceiling my husband rewired the fixture with the longer wire. Not difficult, but it took a bit of perseverence as the wire channels into the fixture are small. It is BEAUTIFUL and a good quality. The little crystal fasteners look flimsy, but they work just fine and don't break and look good once up. The 39" length is perfect for our 76" X 40" table. It has 10 bulbs, so a lot of light. Would recommend a dimmer. Also the bulbs are a bonus, but I will replace with some dimmable ones with a warmer color temperature. Overall an excellent purchase, saved around $700 over what the high end stores want to charge!! Yea!! Everything came in perfect condition. I LOVE this chandelier!! I had it installed professionally with a dimmer switch that works w no issues. (Some people in the comments said it’s not dimmer compatable, but it is). You just can’t take pictures of this and do it justice. It’s now my favorite thing in my whole house! It came with 20 extra crystals too.This chandelier looks like a million bucks - it's exactly what we were looking for to get that industrial glam feel in our dining room. BUT - be warned that you are able to see one of the cords that connects to the wiring when it is hung. If you zoom in in the pics, you will see it's depicted. It's very minor to my eye when the room is decorated, but it still bugs me - my handyman didn't realize it would be showing and accidentally installed it so the chain that the cord weaves through is the first you see. Sigh. Otherwise, I can't recommend this gorgeous piece enough!Like: Spectacular in appearance. Outweighs any dislikes. Ceiling level procedure was easy in my case.Dislike: You must take your time with each crystal and there are many of them. Instructions are not the easiest to understand. If any doubts about your handyman skill level you should hire one. There is no packing list to let you count items before you begin. I will not look forward to cleaning, but for now I will enjoy the view.
