Finish is not good chips off right away, it is white underneath, so your best bet is to go with white. I like the chairs otherwise and will likely paint them myself.I've wanted this chair for years ever since I saw it on a design store's site. The real version by Kartell is made in Italy and costs $300. This is obviously a replica for far less money. I really like the chair because it feels sturdy and weighs about 8 lbs so it won't rock or tip over. For hard plastic, it's surprisingly comfortable. I bought it to use in a dining space but got one chair to sample before committing to a set. The detail of the loops is really well done. I would still like to have the real thing but this is a good substitute. My only complaint is that it's not a rubberized plastic finish like I thought. I don't know the quality of the real ones but this chair is bright white and non-matte. I was hoping it would be off-white. The quality of the plastic is nice for its price. I'm glad I got it for less than $40 because it is probably not worth more than about $50.Super happy with this bar stool. It is white and can be washed easily. In case of hard stains take a magic sponge it works very well. The design is beautiful and ergonomic so it is very very comfy. Sturdy stool chair despite its weight is very very light. Very classy, my friends and I love it. I bought it for my atelier because it is good sometimes to paint sitting. Great purchase.I love these chairs! They arrived faster than expected. My dining table hasn't arrived yet but I know that its all going to work together. I won't lie to you I spent more on them than I wanted to, but now that they are here, they were with every dollar I paid. Would I buy them again? In a heartbeat, they make perfect dining room chairs. I'm not sure they would work as patio chairs because I don't think they would be that comfortable to sit in for a long period of time. But as dining room chairs they are perfect.* * UPDATE: So I finally found a way to get it to the UPS place but it had to be returned by 4/16, now its no longer eligible to return. Can I get a new return label?This item arrived late as a prime member, I am spoiled. When it arrived the white chair had scuff marks. I was upset considering I thought I was buying the set of two for $70 and I bought from the wrong listing for the same price I got just one chair, that was my mistake. The chair does seem sturdy but for a $70 plastic chair I would expect it to be clean with no scuff marks. I asked to return it and printed the label but it came in such a big box I can't fit it in my car to take it to UPS to return.Love these chairs! They’re so cute and sturdy. I would highly recommend them.We did not keep this chair because it was the wrong height, but it was BEAUTIFUL! The yellow ones had to return the color is a very orange yellowI ordered them before reading some reviews about the black peeling I thouth the plastic was blackI was really happy with the quality, great deal. I wish I knew about it earlier as I paid an arm and a leg for the real thing ?Came as advertised. Looks great but uncomfortable.. You need a cushion but one that is big enough to not fall through the gap hat the back of the chair.
