Love this chandelier for the money! (There were a couple of others I would really like to have had, but they were outrageous, and you can't go wrong with Amazon's returns policy "just in case".)It was very easy to add the crystals once it was installed and it's super pretty - they even send you light bulbs, as well as extra crystals in case there are broken ones.Now, for the installation. It's a basic installation, no problems there. However, for those of you who have older homes: This is about a 30# chandelier. Even though we have a newer home, my husband purchased a gizmo on Amazon that drills itself (yep, it drills itself) into the rafters on either side of where the fixture is installed electrically into the ceiling (sorry I don't know all the terms!). It made all the difference both in the stability of the installation and the way the plate fitted to the ceiling (it tended to gap under the weight of the chandelier). Highly recommend!PS Found it!
