Really good find, you see chandeliers like this for $500! I read the reviews before purchasing and they are correct, it takes a lot of time adjusting the arms and a few may never be perfectly straight. If that bothers you DO NOT get this chandelier! The color is a soft brushed champagne gold. I also ordered the Edison bulbs from Amazon. My ceiling is shorter but I also think this would look great on tall ceilings since the down-rod comes in two pieces plus the long chain. (Pictured, I only used one down-rod piece). This is an 8 bulb fixture and gives off a lot of light so I'll be installing a dimmer switch for my dining room, may not need to do that if you wanted to use it for area lighting. I'm giving it 5 stars it was exactly what I was expecting!Love this light! Installation was a bit of a pain, mostly because we didn’t look at the directions closely enough. The illustrations are pretty tiny, so just look super close as you’re reading them. Also, the wires aren’t color coded but the “live” or “hot” wire (black) has tiny writing on it, so if you find the little print on the wire, that will go to your existing black wire. If you’ve hung a light like this before you’ll have no problems at all. If you haven’t just know that you’ll need to string the wires through EVERY piece before you hang it...After we got all the wires figured out it was a cinch to hang. Some reviews had complaints about the arms being loose, but I didn’t have that problem so maybe it’s an issue that’s been fixed. The color is a light-ish gold/brass, and matte not shiny. Love how it looks!Love this chandelier so much! We've had it for a few months now and I still look at it and am so happy with my purchase. It's a little bit of everything! I can totally see this working with any sort of decor from vintage modern to farm house. In old houses and new. It's tricky to get all the arms aligned just right so that it hangs straight... I'll give it that. But once you get the hang of it, it's no problem! And for the price point, it's worth every bit! The perfect statement piece! If we ever move, it comes with me! It was pretty easy to install and it adds more light than I originally thought. So perfect!So easy to installOverall this light was easier to install than some I've dealt with, however no matter what I do it does not hang straight. It's hard to capture in the pictures. I knew when I purchased it that the finish would probably leave something to be desired, which I'm okay with, but it should be noted that it is a kind of dull warm gold spray paint look. Really my primary issue is that the arms and "candles" don't stand up straight. I am frustrated that I didn't notice before I hung it up and clipped the wire. I guess you get what you pay for.I had my electrician install this, so I don't know how it would be for DIY, but this looks amazing. I have seen the same fixture sold in high end stores for three times as much, so I am thrilled with this find.
