Just installed this crystal chandelier and thought I would give a few pointers that aren’t mentioned. ***This is generaladvice only and install at your own risk***. If you aren’t comfortable doing electrical work please hire a professional electrician.1. This chandelier do not come with a mounting plate so you will need to purchase one (I purchase the round 5pk off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B087QB45PQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image ). More than likely the screws in your electrician box aren’t lined up correctly so mounting plate is a must to align the chandelier straight.2. You will also need to purchase drywall anchors https://www.amazon.com/Drilling-Drywall-Plastic-Anchors-Screws/dp/B0845YKDHV/ref=mp_s_a_1_15_sspa?crid=KVQBKAWV2GVJ&keywords=drywall+anchors&qid=1680566717&sprefix=drywall%2Caps%2C172&sr=8-15-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExV09aMUlaSEo5RFZCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTQ0NjM1M0U2U0IySDhBV0FEQiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTExNTU0MVcwQ1FaNlNEV0dMRiZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3Bob25lX3NlYXJjaF9hdGZfbmV4dCZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= This chandelier is heavy and without the anchors will sag at the left and right corners. Figure out exactly where you want your chandelier lined up and put holes for the drywall anchors. This is heavy so anchors are needed.3. Hang crystals last and use gloves (don’t ask how I know lol). Will make your install much easier :)4. Check your crystals. I did not receive extras of the larger crystals so I emailed the seller and they sent them out.5. The chandelier does not come with lights so you will need to purchase them as well https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08CZGJKJQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title .Crystals are a little time consuming to out on but these are a great value, look awesome & are worth the extra time to install.6. Lastly, the rectangular plate does not cover a standard 4.25in electrical box and will show on the sides. I brought a cheap piece of trim that was an inch wide and made 45 degree miter cuts to easily cover the gaps. Cheap and easy way to cover the gaps and looks like professional (I’ve seen some people who just left the gaps showing that the plate didn’t cover and I’m not a fan of that look).
